As we say in Grenada–and I am sure those who attended can attest to this as well–Cecil and Danielle’s wedding was “real vibes”. The venue was beautifully decorated, with plenty smiles all around and close friend’s and family’s outpouring support and adoration for the soon to be newlyweds. The day started at two of Calabash Boutique Hotel’s luxury villas: chit-chat, dominoes, and indulgence of my favorite Guatemalan rum, and of course not forgetting preparations of the bride and groom for their big day.
After a heartfelt first-look, and a beautiful ceremony, the reception–ahem… PARTY–was well under way. Emotions continued to run high with embarrassing yet loving speeches, excellent food, drinking and dancing, dancing and drinking, and more of the latter. The night culminated in a beautiful display of fireworks dedicated to Cecil and Danielle, a deserving pair who I now consider friends.
